Villa Shangri-La is located in the authentic Berber village of Aourir (Banana Village) at just 5 km from Taghazout, 1 km from Tamraght and 14 km from Agadir and 40 km from its international airport. It is a quiet retreat, an oasis, far away from the cities hustle and bustle where you can treat yourselves to a relaxing, healthy but yet sporty holiday: surfing, yoga, sunbathing by the pool, learn how to cook traditional Moroccan dishes such as tajine, rfissa, couscous, enjoy traditional Moroccan hammam, argan oil massage, and much more, and wake up every day seeing your stress just flowing away!
Villa Shangri-La, Surf & Yoga, is a stunning, recently built, 3 stories villa with 6 bedrooms fully equipped for your comfort: private shower and toilets (either inside or just outside the bedroom), bed linens, bath towels, air conditioning, heating and garden / swimming pool / mountain views from each room. You can enjoy free WIFI, throughout the house and in the garden.

From the rooftop terrace, you'll enjoy both amazing Moroccan countryside and ocean views. There are small lounges on each floor with sofas and balconies, great for chilling out.
On the ground floor, the open kitchen, the communal eating and getting together area open onto the swimming pool and the garden.
Meals
At the villa, we can cater for all types of diet: vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.
We handpick our fruits and vegetables from the local souks (markets) and all meals are home cooked with attention and love. We are proud to serve healthy and delicious food to our guests.
• Breakfast: continental buffet with hot drinks, fresh orange juice, fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, etc. and traditional Moroccan goodies
• Lunch: mainly healthy salads or sandwiches
• Dinner: Moroccan dishes and international cuisine
Beside the surfing and the yoga, we can provide many other activities according to your wishes: cooking classes, traditional Moroccan hammam and massage, day trip to Paradise Valley, Agadir and Banana Village souks (market), horse riding, camel riding on the beach, excursions to Marrakech and Essaouira, etc.
Furthermore, It’s also the ideal location to explore the beautiful South of Morocco with its magnificent sites like the Legzira beach, Massa National Park, Tiznit - the silver city or the lovely village of Tafraoute. The region is also a fascinating place for foodies, with the argan oil, honey and other local specialities. The air is full of colours and flavours to be remembered for a lifetime. Every Wednesday, it's Banana village local market day! Offering a very traditional Moroccan souk experience. You will find stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, olives, spices and much, more. Alongside edible items, you can also find Moroccan handicrafts such as rugs and jewellery. It’s a joyful, colourful bazaar and the perfect place to test your bargaining skills and pick up some truly unique gifts.
Besides the weekly market, Banana village has all commodities: doctors, pharmacies, banks, ATM’s, food shops, argan and honey shops, crafts shops, many cafes and restaurants where you can try all kind of different Moroccan specialities.
The local weather conditions
The Agadir area is blessed with a warm to hot climate all year round and the water never gets that cold. The evenings can be chilly in the winter as you are by the ocean.
As we all know, there are no certainty or rules with the weather, but in a general manner, very little rain (Oct - Nov) or wind (May - June) and mainly sunny days with blue skies...
